FAQ

How do I Charge The Glow on These Lures?

Just Charge it with a UV torch, Direct Sunlight or bright torch for around 30 seconds

How do they work in the Shallows aren't they only for Deep or low light conditions?

Definitely not. While they dominate in the dark, our UV-reactive tech is just as lethal in shallow water on a blue-bird day. The high sunlight "charges" the pigments, making the lure pop and stand out against surface glare, mimicking the natural shimmer of live bait.

Many natural baitfish (like prawns or small baitfish) actually have a slight natural UV shimmer to their scales and slime. By using UV lures in clear, shallow water, you are actually mimicking real life better than a flat, matte-painted lure does.

How Long does the Glow Last?

The visible glow generally lasts between 4 to 12 hours after a full charge, but the intensity drops over time.

  • Peak Brightness: The first 15–30 minutes provide the most intense light (often called the "strike zone" brightness).
  • Usable Glow: For human eyes in total darkness, you’ll see it for several hours.
  • Fish Perception: Fish are much more sensitive to light than humans. Even when the lure looks "dead" to you, it may still be emitting enough light/UV for a fish to track it in deep or murky water.

The chemistry of the powder changes based on the color, which affects the duration:

  • Green & Aqua: These are typically the brightest and longest-lasting (often reaching that 8–12 hour mark).
  • Blue/Purple: These have a medium duration, usually lasting 3–5 hours.
  • Red/Orange/Pink: These are the "fastest" burners. They are very bright initially but may lose their charge significantly within 30–60 minutes.
